Rodrigo falls squarely into that category of wildly capable engineers. Routinely in the time we’ve worked together, Rodrigo has demonstrated an ability to innately understand our architecture, platform, deployments, CI process - leading to a talented resource that was able to help us tremendously in times that our organically grown deployment architecture has experienced issues. Not only was he able to effectively and quickly resolve issues as they arose, but he regularly left the architecture better than he found it.
Being able to triage and diagnose issues is just a portion of DevOps responsibilities, and Rodrigo exceeds similarly when investigating new tools and patterns to implement in our group. He was a fierce advocate of moving off antiquated tools and finding new, lighter processes for us to deliver software.
